In stock
Fitje is a red polypropylene clip that you slide into the trigger guard of a fuel nozzle. It holds the lever open, you fuel hands-free, and the pump stops itself the moment the tank is full. One part, no batteries, €1.95.
How it works
- Put the nozzle in the tank and pull the lever.
- Slide Fitje into the trigger guard, between the lever and the housing. It locks itself in.
- Let go. As soon as the tank is full the pump stops itself. Take Fitje out and put it in your pocket.
Fits
The common fuel nozzles in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (ZVA, OPW, Husky among them), petrol, diesel and AdBlue. Three positions for three guard sizes. Doesn't fit your pump? Money back.
Who it is for
Anyone who would rather not squeeze a lever for minutes: in the cold, in the rain, with a coffee in hand. And as a fuelling aid for people with arthritis or weak hands.

Fuelling safely
Fitje only uses the automatic shut-off that is already built into every nozzle. Always stay with your car, do not get in while fuelling, and follow the station's rules. Dutch pumps may not have a latch themselves (PGS 28); Fitje is your own aid.
