Fitje fits the common fuel nozzles in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (ZVA, OPW and Husky among them) and works with petrol, diesel and AdBlue. If the nozzle has a lever with a trigger guard, Fitje clips in. Doesn't fit your pump? You get your money back.

Fitje only uses the automatic shut-off that is already built into every nozzle: the moment the tank is full, the pump stops itself. Always stay with your car while fuelling, do not get in, and follow the rules of the station.

The Dutch guideline PGS 28 forbids a locking device on the nozzle itself at public pumps. That is why the latch you see in Belgium and Germany is missing. Fitje is not part of the pump but your own clip, and the automatic shut-off keeps working. Stay with your car and follow the station's rules.

Because PGS 28 (article 9.6.1.3) requires fuel to flow only while someone deliberately operates the lever. The trade association feared overflowing tanks if a driver fell ill with the lever locked. Only high-speed diesel pumps for trucks (over 60 litres a minute) may still have a latch.
